The mayor of London Sadiq Khan has said that the Trump angry baby blimp can fly over the city during the president's visit.
The six-metre balloon depicting Mr Trump as an angry, orange baby in a big white nappy will now take flight from Parliament Square Gardens on 13 July to coincide with the president's presence in London.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan approved the balloon after a crowdfunding campaign raised over £16,000 to get the massive blimp to fly during his visit.
Donald Trump is a big, angry baby with a fragile ego.
He's also racist demagogue who is a danger to women, immigrants and minorities and a mortal threat to world peace and the very future of life on earth. Moral outrage is water off a duck’s back to Trump. But he really seems to hate it when people make fun of him.
So when Trump visits the UK on Friday the 13th of July this year, we want to make sure he knows that all of Britain is looking down on him and laughing at him.
There are strict rules in place for when the balloon can fly during the visit. It can only fly from Parliament Square Gardens, tethered to the ground, with a floating height of no more than 30m.
It's also only allowed to take to the air between 9:30am and 11:30am on Friday 13th July, to coincide with the 'Stop Trump' protest in central London.
A spokesman for the mayor of London said:
The mayor supports the right to peaceful protest and understands that this can take many different forms.
His city operations team have met with the organisers and have given them permission to use Parliament Square Garden as a grounding point for the blimp.
