Trump shouts 'quiet' at a reporter six times for challenging him on his 'racist' tweets

While being questioned over his 'racist' tweets, issued Sunday, Donald Trump shouted at a reporter six times to be 'quiet', because, well, that's Trump's style, right?

In the tweets, issued Sunday, the president said that four non-white congresswomen "originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe", should "go back" to their countries of origin.

The tweets were aimed at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who was born in the Bronx, New York; Rashida Tlaib, who was born in Detroit, Michigan; Ayanna Pressley, who was born in Chicago, Illinois; and Ilhan Omar, who came to the US from Somalia as a refugee aged 12.

Now, Trump has addressed the tweets, and point-blank denied that they're racist. When questioned by a reporter on Monday, Trump shouted them down.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said:

All I'm saying is that if they're not happy here, they can leave, they can leave, and you know what? I'm sure that there will be many people that won't miss them.

In the background, the reporter can be heard shouting:

But they're American citizens!

To which Trump responds:

But they have to love... they have to love our country! They're congresspeople, but I never used any names!

Quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet! 

These are people that if they don't like it here, they can leave. 

And I'd be... I don't know who's going to miss them, but I guess some people will! 

One of them is polling at 8 per cent, one of them is polling at 8 per cent. 

So when I hear people speaking about how wonderful Al Qaeda is. When I hear people talking about some people, some people, with the World Trade Centre, some people, some people, no, much more than some people. 

When I hear the statements they've made... 

When the clip was shared to social media, many people had thoughts on Trump's conduct.

Some thought that Trump should have more respect for the freedom of the press.

And called him a 'troll'.

While others agreed with his treatment of the reporter.

This isn't Trump's only high profile run-in with the press. In January, the president threatened a Time journalist with prison time for apparently taking a photograph of a letter from Kim Jong-un, reports the BBC.

In February, a BBC cameraman was shoved and abused at a Trump rally in El Paso, in what was described as an 'unacceptable' attack.
