It's official. As you've probably expected all along if you know anything about Donald Trump, the President of the United States' long-awaited visit to the UK is scheduled for Friday 13 July.
The planned visit, which comes after French president Emmanuel Macron's successful visit to Washington this week, has raised the spectre of mass protests.
The trip could still be cancelled subject to White House decision-making, Whitehall sources told The Independent.
Everyone is pointing out the obvious.
