Where the world's happiest employees live

We might not hate work as much as we thought - as much as we love that #FridayFeeling.

The Endred-Ipsos 2016 Barometer found that 71 per cent of British people feel positively about their work - a high to average score among the countries surveyed.

As the below chart from Statista shows, India is the country where the highest proportion of workers from the countries surveyed feel positive about their job:

This ranking was based upon a number of factors, including having a clear idea of what is expected of you at work, being able to count on colleagues, having suitable facilities and overall interest in the job, among others.

The UK was found to have similar attitudes to work as Spain and the US, characterised by a lack of emotion.

The research found that well-being at work was a growing challenge for companies in the current economic environment, and that more were becoming dependent on their employees’ willingness to go the extra mile.
