It's time to shut your mouth to save your teeth.
Sleeping with your mouth open can be as bad for your teeth as a fizzy drink before bed, according to a study in the Journal of Oral Rehabilitation.
Breathing through the mouth results in a dry mouth, and the lack of saliva means your natural defences against bacteria are weakened.
