Apple appears to be building an evil lair

Apple is part-way through building a new headquarters and, judging by the size of it, the company may be planning a lair from whence it can conquer the world. Or maybe it's just the James Bond-style soundtrack that has convinced us.

Final planning for the Apple Campus 2 project, a 2.8 million square feet project to house over 12,000 employees, was approved by Cupertino City Council in October 2013.

This footage, shot in 4K high-definition using a Tarot 680 Pro Hex drone, was taken by the Myithz YouTube account, which has been regularly posting updates from the construction site.

The project, which is said to be located one mile east from the original Apple HQ at 1 Infinite Loop - shown in the opening stage of this video, is expected to be completed in late 2016.
