Boston Dynamics is at it again.
The robotics firm, which brought you the walking dog robots and the back-flipping robot, which Twitter commentators said would herald the robo-pocalypse, has produced a robot that can open doors.
Unsurprisingly, those same Twitter commentators are at it again too.
Boston Dynamics posted a video of its new and slimline SpotMini quadruped robot extending an appendage to open a door, using its legs to also hold the door open for another robot to walk through.
People are, again, heralding it as the beginning of the end.
There are, of course, some critics.
But don't worry. We're quite a way off from breaking out the Voight-Kampff tests.
