Introducing the social network for rich people

You can now join a social network aimed at wealthy people - for only $9,000.

Netropolitan bills itself as "the online country club for people with more money than time", rather than the online club for people with more money than sense.

The site is ad free, mobile friendly and not indexed by google. It's also not a hoax, or at least according to its 48-year-old founder and former Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra conductor James Touchi-Peters. He assured CNN the site was "100% real".

"I saw a need for an environment where you could talk about the finer things in life without backlash -- an environment where people could share similar likes and experiences."
