Someone did an iPhone 6 drop test from space. This is what happened next

Ever wondered what would happen if you were to drop an iPhone 6 back into the atmosphere from 100,000ft? Us neither.

But smartphone case manufacturer Urban Armor Gear did. To test its new case, it sent an iPhone 6 all the way up to the edge of space - and then dropped it.

While the phone had a parachute, it withstood temperatures of -70 degrees Fahrenheit and 70mph winds - and still made it back to earth unharmed.

Urban Armor Gear carried out the test in November but have only recently put the footage, shot with a GoPro, online. Check out the full video below:
