This video of all the worst bits of Instagram will make you want to delete your account

A musician called Hiérophante has made a video that shows just how unoriginal we all are on Instagram. Well, most of us.

The video is a slideshow of images - collections of all the tedious clichés that are perpetual on the app.

Selfies feature heavily, as do pictures of people "propping up" the Leaning Tower of Pisa, or doing the leg-sausage thing in the bath.

Hiérophante writes:

I took advantage of our tendency to be unoriginal on social media to make this animation.

Everything from images search to editing is made 'by hand' without any automated software.

Some people point out to me that some similar videos already exists so it seems that making a video about clichés is a cliché too...

It's so uninspiring that it's almost inspiring. But it's not. It's just upsetting...
