Tim Cook had to delete his photo of the Super Bowl after being relentlessly mocked

Tim Cook's Super Bowl snap failed miserably as an advertisement for the 8-megapixel iPhone 6.

The Apple CEO appeared to be celebrating the Denver Broncos’ win and as any fan would do, posted a spontaneous picture to the internet. However, it would seem that not just any fan is also the boss of the world’s biggest technology company.

With Apple’s most recent advertising campaign running the somewhat arrogant slogan ‘if it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone’, some called into question whether it was captured with an iPhone, an iPad or just a mere household appliance.

The torment proved too much, with Cook's account eventually removing the photo and replacing it with a rather more focused shot.

Definitely not shot with a toaster.
