Twitter has replaced favourites and stars with likes and hearts - and no one can cope

Yes, the rumours are true: Twitter is retiring "favourites" and replacing them with 'likes'. In other words, stars are becoming hearts.

Twitter announced the change in a blog post on Tuesday afternoon, explaining that it wanted to make the service "easier and more rewarding to use".

If it all sounds very similar to a certain other social media website, that's because it is.

People have, understandably, not reacted to the change very well.

No one likes change

No one knows what to make of it

What fresh madness is this?!

So many questions

Lots of swearing

Lots and lots of swearing

AND LOTS OF SHOUTY CAPS LOCKS

WHERE AM I?

HELP!

How do you feel about the new change?
