Ariana Grande's 'thank u, next' has inspired people to create their own versions of the music video

After few days of teasing fans with previews, Ariana Grande finally released the eagerly awaited video for her hit song 'thank u, next.'

The 5-minute promo, which has already been viewed over 42 million times on YouTube serves as an homage to the great teen movies from the 2000s.

Nods and references are made to the likes of Mean Girls, Legally Blonde and Bring It On and features cameos from Kris Jenner, Troye Sivan and Jennifer Coolige and not to hype it too much, but it is fantastic.

Watch it below (warning: the video does contain some strong language).

With the video quickly going viral people became all nostalgic for the movies and TV shows that they grew up with and began to suggest what they would want to be referenced in their own version of the 'thank u, next' video.

This was started by the writer Russell Falcon and we'll be honest when we say that we want to see all of these videos.
