Mark Ruffalo is an intriguing actor. A political activist and Oscar nominee, he fluctuates between worthy dramatic works and big budget blockbusters. An accomplished director and stage actor, in recent years his career has been dominated by his role as Bruce Banner/Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Ruffalo has shared a picture on his Instagram page in which he is seen forming a triangle of delight with co-stars Tom Holland and Don Cheadle. The trio are wearing their motion capture suits and Ruffalo has invited his followers to take guesses at what precisely is occurring. The replies came thick and fast in response to the actor’s question:

What’s happening here? Wrong answers only. #AvengersEndgame

Sarah Silverman replied with the words, "D&D world finals" while another Instagram user suggested, "y’all going into Area 51 and distracting the guards to kidnap aliens."

Another Marvel fan suggested the team were, “Discussing how to stop Tony Stark from volunteering to sacrifice himself all the damn time." In a similar vein was the comment, “The "I am tired of Tony but I love him" squad”.

Many were keen to reference the fact that Holland and Ruffalo have form when it comes to giving away plot points, with one wag commenting, “Don is beginning the ritual that stops you and Tom from telling spoilers.”
