Fans of singer Billie Eilish were excited about the release of her two and a half hour long documentary on Apple TV+ last week.

However, details that emerged about her notoriously private love life have left some questioning if she was groomed, as fans learned about the age difference between her and her former boyfriend.

In the documentary titledBillie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry, the 19-year-old confirmed that she was in a relationship with performer 7:AMP, whose real name is Brandon Quention Adams, and who Eilish calls "Q".

It’s revealed that Eilish met Adams at one of her concerts in November 2018.

At the time, Eilish was 16, and Adams was 22. The pair are later seen holding hands in footage from the singer’s 17th birthday party.

More footage shows her saying she loves him, though it is revealed that they broke up as Eilish “wasn’t happy” and “didn’t want the same things he wanted”.

Fans took to Twitter to share their concerns about the pair’s relationship, given how young Eilish was when they first got together. Some have even called the relationship “disgusting”.

A few fans disagreed, however, saying she has been raised differently and is more mature than the average young person.

The pair have reportedly parted ways, but the debate about age gaps in relationships doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere.
