A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, 480 fans got together to remake The Empire Strikes Back shot-for-shot.
The Empire Strikes Back Uncut is the result of 1,500 submissions for a faithful remake of the second Star Wars film released, with many different animation and film techniques employed.
Mark Franklin, Lucasfilm senior events and fan relations lead, described the end result as "one of the best examples of fan creativity" she had seen.
Even if you don't have a spare two hours it's fun to jump around the video - our favourite bit arrives at 1:51:36, when a gingerbread-esque Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker face off.
