Frozen 2: Fans think Elsa's outfit has 'gay energy' in the trailer but not everyone is impressed

Just when you thought you'd escaped endless renditions of 'Let it Go', Disney has gone and made another Frozen movie.

Frozen 2 isn't due out until November but the first trailer for the brand new animated adventure has already dropped and people already have a lot of thoughts.

Most of these thoughts consist around what the hero of the piece, Elsa, is wearing in this otherwise short trailer.

While she is attempting to run across a roaring ocean by freezing it, she can be seen wearing a pantsuit which has got the LGBT+ community chatting.

To cut to the point, people believe that this outfit means that Elsa has 'lesbian energy' and Twitter is loving it.

Unfortunately, with anything like this, there are always those that find offence and there has sadly been a homophobic backlash against the lesbian dreams of Frozen fans.

The desire to have Elsa come out as gay is longheld by Frozen fans and co-director Jennifer Lee has admitted that she is open to the idea.

Last year she told Huffington Post:

I love everything people are saying [and] people are thinking about with our film ― that it's creating dialogue, that Elsa is this wonderful character that speaks to so many people.

It means the world to us that we're part of these conversations

Where we're going with it, we have tons of conversations about it, and we're really conscientious about these things.
