Supergirl, a show inspired by the comic book hero, is home to one of the few high-profile same-sex couples on television.
Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima) are an item on the show, but their intimacy was recently the subject of a Twitter complaint.
