That gruesome Instagram injury posted by the Rock was fake, thankfully

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson horrified the internet when he shared a gruesome video of what appeared to be his mangled and broken finger on Tuesday evening.

The Instagram clip was taken on the set of his forthcoming film Central Intelligence.

"I just stepped off set. My director, Rawson Thurber, just ran up to me," the Rock says in the video. "We had a little accident. He said, ‘Are you bleeding?’ I said, ‘Bleed? I ain’t got time to bleed.’ Let’s pop this son-of-a-bitch back in."

Thankfully, Variety has confirmed the injury was faked with a prosthetic. Even so, watching the clip below may give you nightmares.
