Garth Brooks has overtaken Elvis Presley in total US album sales.

But while the country and western singer has topped the King, there are still four plucky Britons ahead of him in the table:

4 Led Zeppelin - 111.5m

5 Eagles - 101m

6 Billy Joel - 81.5m

7 Michael Jackson - 76m

8 Pink Floyd - 74.5m

9 Elton John - 73.5m

10 Barbra Streisand - 72m
