The Emmys managed to spoil the endings of a lot of big TV shows in one montage

You had one job, Emmys guys.

A video sequence shown at Sunday night's Emmy Awards crushed viewers' souls as it carefully depicted a selection of spoilers from a whole host of shows.

People yet to finish watching their series of choice,were left dismayed as the montage ruined each show one by one.

The night's host Andy Samberg addressed the situation by saying:

Welcome back to the spoiler awards. I guess everyone on every show died.

For clarity, here's a list of just some of the shows the Emmys completely ruined:

• Boardwalk Empire

• Sons of Anarchy

• Justified

• Nurse Jackie

• Parks and Recreation

• Glee

• Two and a Half Men
