This tweet perfectly sums up how we feel about David Bowie, Alan Rickman and Terry Wogan

The veteran BBC broadcaster Terry Wogan has died of cancer aged 77, his family has confirmed.

The news was announced on-air in a statement by Bob Shennan, the controller of Radio 2 - the station where he worked on-and-off since 1972 - on Sunday morning.

Wogan's family confirmed he died on Sunday "after a short but brave battle with cancer".

Wogan's passing follows the death of music legend David Bowie and actor Alan Rickman who both died earlier this month after battling cancer.

While tributes pour in across social media, one tweet has from actor and comedian David Schneider picked up traction for perfectly summing up how we all feel about January 2015...

RIP.
