We all know doppelgangers, the weird phenomenon that makes us existentially question if cloning exists or if there’s a glitch in the simulation.

With the internet making the world feel a little bit smaller, discovering look-alikes has also become a lot easier.

Case in point: in a viral TikTok video, one user revealed that he looks extremely similar to Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles.

Could he be the secret child of the hottest actors of the 90s? How did genetics work so perfectly to create the perfect combination of one of cinema’s most iconic couples? Is this all an elaborate experiment? It’s an eternal mystery.

The two actors cemented their place in teen movie history with their roles in 10 Things I Hate About You, which launched Ledger’s career and made everyone yearn to be serenaded with a Frankie Valli song. If anything, the video proves that Patrick and Kat got married and lived happily ever after.

The video is one of many as part of a meme where users on TikTok show their celebrity look-alike “parents”, with the audio poking fun at cheesy movie introductions. Fortunately, 10 Things I Hate About You is not one of the guilty films.

Miraculously, after the first video caught traction, more videos appeared with people pretending to be the imaginary children of Ledger and Stiles.

It’s not just bearded men either!

Can TikTok do Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd next?
