BBC accidentally interviews ex-footballer about match he played in

When BBC North West took to the streets of Liverpool to ask residents if they remembered the 1967 Merseyside Derby they probably weren’t expecting this to happen.

Reporter Stuart Flinders unwittingly began to interview Liverpool’s former goalkeeper, Tommy Lawrence, who informed them that he remembered the match pretty well.

“It was a great game,” he said, adding "Alan Ball scored the winner," in reference to Everton's 1-0 victory.
