A truly excellent newspaper correction, featuring John Cleese

Last week we brought you news of John Cleese's withering putdown of Piers Morgan.

After Morgan branded the Monty Python comedian an "old fool" in his Daily Mail column, Cleese hit back by saying:

The remark was so cutting that it received quite a bit of coverage, including in the Guardian, which headlined its article in print with the words "Python's venom".

However, the online version of the article was amended when, um, John Cleese himself pointed out that pythons aren't actually venomous snakes.

The web article now carries this correction:

What a time to be alive.
