This man tried to dodge his hotel bill by climbing out his 19th floor window

Hotels can be pricey, but most would happily pay that and more if it meant avoiding a risky climb from a high-rise window.

But a man in China has different priorities.

Edge-of-your seat footage appears to show him trying to flee a hotel bill by escaping through a window roughly 19 floors up.

It is an agonising watch as he dangles from a telephone wire at a giddying height.

But it gets worse - according to China Daily, he was swinging dangerously near high-voltage power lines.

Though his escape from his hotel didn't work out, he was rescued from a worse fate as firefighters eventually got him down.
