If you thought that British politics and the government had truly descended into parody mode this week then look no further than the Conservatives official Twitter account.
That's right. That is an actual tweet that the current governing party of the United Kingdom tweeted out on Friday afternoon.
Although this is an obvious attempt to ridicule Jeremy Corbyn for not backing Boris Johnson's call for a general election, the bizarre image (why is he is a locker room?) as well as tagging KFC, has not had the desired effect on Twitter.
It is also possible that the stock image that the Tories have used cost them £375.
We can't wait to see what KFC will say in response.
We've said it before and we'll say it again but what a time to be alive!
