Trump and Melania spend ‘very little to no time together’, says friend of couple

The relationship between the US president and the first lady is a topic of intense scrutiny.

Melania Trump has not responded to reports that her husband’s personal attorney paid porn actress Stormy Daniels ‘hush money’.

The duo have often been snapped in awkward poses together. Melania was seen appearing to bat his hand away on a tarmac, and cameras have caught Melania seemingly resisting her husband’s touch in this and this instance.

However, it appears the Trumps do not spend a lot of time together. According to the Washington Post, a friend close to the president said:

They spend very little to no time together.

According to current and former aides, the president and first lady often do not eat together at the White House, and people familiar with their schedules claim they spend their free time apart.

Melania’s spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham disagrees with this presentation of their relationship, and told the paper:

Aside from the president’s solo trips, the family spends most evenings together [and Melania] is focused on being a mom. She’s focused on being a wife, and she’s focused on her role as first lady. And that’s it. The rest is just noise.
