This map shows the first degrees of every current European leader

It seems that pretty much any degree can help you enter the European corridors of power.

Or no degree at all, if you want to lord it over Sweden.

This is according to journalist Pádraig Belton, who has mapped the first degrees of every European leader.

Though the map shows a healthy mixture of arts and science degrees, the notable prominence of law makes it a lot less interesting.

That is until you notice that the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov studied firefighting.

Amazing.
