Woman transforms ‘filthiest house in Europe’ which hadn’t been cleaned for 5 years

Before and after shots of the “filthiest house in Europe” will have you reaching for your cleaning supplies this afternoon.

TikTok cleaner @aurikatariina showed the devastating impact depression can have on someone’s environment.

In a viral video, the cleaner revealed that the Swiss house had not been cleaned in five years.

When the owner, who suffered from depression, could no longer shower she resorted to cutting off her hair.

Now, after receiving help from TikTok’s “Queen of Cleaning”, the homeowner has a fresh start.

The video has received over 9.5 million views since it was uploaded four days ago, with thousands sending messages of support to the homeowner in the comments.

One TikToker wrote: “I hope the owners are ok, and I can guarantee your cleaning has helped them so much.”

Another said: “Seeing houses like this makes me feel less alone about how mine looks.”

“I cry at every one of these,” another TikToker wrote. “You are giving people their lives, function and dignity back. Bless you for your work.”

Aurikatariina shared the full video of the cleaning process to YouTube, where the comment section was also flooded with support.

One viewer wrote: “I suffer from depression and anxiety and sometimes having the energy to shower and cook and clean can be overwhelming. Thank you for being such a kind soul and not judging someone.”

In the full video she showed before and after clips of the bedroom, kitchen, and living room.
