A woman claims she was left fighting back a panic attack after a bouncer refused her entry to a club because of the way she looked.

Agustina Rios Martinez and her boyfriend had been invited to a birthday party in the Rose in Rio nightclub in Buenos Aires when the bouncer refused to let her in.

According to the Mirror's translation, Martinez shared what happened to her on Facebook. She said that when she got to the entrance of the club, the bouncer told her she “was not the kind of girl who goes to this place”, and “she did not hit the target”.

She continued:

We clearly didn't go in, we left and will never go there again.

All my life I have been insulted, shouted at in the street, and mocked because I was a fatty, but not letting me in a club because of my physical appearance?

It was the worst thing that happened to me so far.

I share this with you so that you try not to go to these type of s**t places that have no brain and believe they can manage the universe.

The Facebook post garnered hundreds of messages of support, with one writing:

I send you a big hug and I'm sorry you had to go through such a shitty situation. Don't let these people get you down, on the contrary, let it give you more strength and pride to make up for who you are.

Her brother said the incident has given her panic attacks.
