Bonnie Blue addresses critics over her pregnancy announcement backlash

Bonnie Blue has addressed the confusion surrounding her recent "fake bump" prank, admitting that part of it was deliberately designed to provoke a reaction.
While on holiday in Mexico, she revealed that the much-discussed silicone baby bump seen in recent clips was in fact a prop, which she openly described as "ragebaiting".
In a TikTok video that went viral, she said: "So, spring break is done, and I'm no longer going to need this fake bump so thank you for all you middle-aged dumb parents that fell for my rage bait, because not only has it paid for the villa, the sunshine, but over 100 million views has made me £1 million better off".

She later doubled down in a behind-the-scenes post shared to a more personal account, telling followers, "get ready with me to ragebait," before holding up the "bump that everyone's crying about," a £40 purchase from Amazon.
Despite the stunt, Bonnie insists there is truth behind the headlines. She confirmed that she is genuinely expecting and has referenced her pregnancy (including bouts of sickness) across multiple clips.
"I'm pregnant, and I can announce my pregnancy however I want," she shared. "If I want to make light of my morning sickness or add a fake bump, that's completely fine as well".

The 26-year-old first announced her pregnancy back in February on a separate, more personal account, where she took a more stripped-back approach.
"I'm pregnant," she dropped in the clip that racked up over 10 million views. "I love sharing stuff with this account as you get to see the real me, and I'm just really grateful".
But even there, she made it clear that her online persona isn’t going anywhere.

"Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I'm going to forget to ragebait," she added.
She went on to explain that while she’s thrilled about the pregnancy, she still feels a responsibility to maintain her online persona.
At the same time, she reassured followers that her personal account is a space where she "doesn't want to be Bonnie Blue as such," and actively avoids lying or staged controversy.
