This is what an average day is like if you're Ivanka Trump

Ivanka Trump spends 20 minutes meditating, 8 minutes on makeup, and listens to TED Talks in the shower.

Before she was the First Daughter and Special Advisor to the President of the United States, Ivanka Trump was also an entrepreneur and an executive vice president of the Trump Organization.

Maintaining her pre-White House routine will have been difficult, and here are some of the habits she kept in New York City, to give us a good sign of what

In previous interviews Trump has explained her morning habits. These are the early morning habits that lead to a hopefully successful day.

5.30am-7am

Writing for My Morning Routine in 2015, Trump said she immediately checks her phone. One imagines that under her father's Presidency, the most important notifications are from Twitter.

Trump begins each day with meditation for 20 minutes or by working out in her building's gym - and sometimes both.

This is followed by a shower. To accompany her makeup and moisturising routine (eight minutes worth) Trump says she listens to a TED Talk.

She then reads the New York Post, The Wall Street Journal (and specifically) the front section of the New York Times.

Once this (presumably 'fake') news is consumed Trump's children get out of bed.

7am-8am

While Trump sees to dressing her younger children, her eldest Arabella brushes her teeth, washes her hands, and makes her bed up.

Trump writes that the family eat breakfast together, which always consists of two options - Greek yoghurt and berries or 'fancy oatmeal'.

She drinks a large glass of lemon water and a big cup of coffee.

When in New York, Trump then walked Arabella to school or else went straight to the office for 7.45-8am.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar in 2014, she explained that both she and husband Jared Kushner live within walking distance of their jobs.

8am-12.30pm

Trump describes back to back meetings, which would occasionally mean she crosses paths with her father.

When her offices were in Trump Tower she states she was never without water, a cup of coffee, or Tazo passion tea on the go.

12.30pm-1.30pm

In 2014 Trump had a weekly lunch date planned with Arabella, down in the Trump Grill - this has presumably changed now she has an office in the White House.

5.30pm-7pm

She aims to get out of the office and home for the 5-30-7pm period so she can spend quality time with her children.

First she removes her makeup.

The minute I walk into the house that's what I do, and it makes me feel like I've kind of come home. I wash my face, I take off all my makeup, and I feel sort of in my natural state, if you will. I love moisturizers, lotions potions.

After dinner she puts the children to bed.

8pm

Trump says she and Kusher's evenings often consist of eating out for a work dinner or dinner with friends, but if she's at home her dinner can be her children's leftovers.

11pm

Bed time, in preparation for the next 5.30am start.

Before bed, Trump aims for an 'inbox zero' of answered emails. Writing in Harper's Bazaar, she said there were usually 200 of these per day.

Presumably this figure has skyrocketed now that she works for one of the most powerful men in the world.
