Five-year-old Bella won a CBC children’s contest to become Canada’s “Prime Minister” for a day.
Bella won the contest thanks to what she wrote to the station:
As Prime Minster, I would make sure everyone has homes and everyone is safe. I would hug everyone. I would make sure animals and the world around us are kept safe. I would make sure every Canadian is healthy. I would show kindness to everyone.
And when the day came around for her to act as Prime Minister, she really did have her priorities in exactly the right place. She asked prime minister Justin Trudeau if she could make a pillow fort in his office.
Trudeau didn’t just say yes, but he moved furniture to make it happen.
Something tells us he's done this before.
