We've all experienced a little jealous on occasion.

Jealousy can strike any time, any place: Your partner could be chatting to someone at a party, or they might be telling you about the time Gary in accounting made them laugh at lunch - these things happen, and it's a sign of a mature, stable relationship when you can both get over it and trust one another.

One man apparently can't control his jealousy or his distrust of his girlfriend, as was made apparent by a text to a bar in Newcastle, England.

Last week, the anonymous man allegedly text Filthy's bar and club the following message:

Hi, My girlfriend is headed with a hen party this weekend to Filthys [sic].

I was wondering if I would be able to pay a member of staff to keep an eye on her and make sure theres[sic] no men at their table etc.

I don't want the staff member to let the group know their [sic] watching though."

I think you'll agree that's a worrying level of both creepy and controlling.

Sharing the text they said they received on their Facebook, Flithy's wrote a response saying:

For anybody else considering offering us cash to casually stalk their partners.. we are a bar, not private investigators / professional perverts.

We can however add some finishing touches to the reserved area such as personalised name cards & bubbly on arrival! :)

Respect your partner and they'll respect you, ya creep.
