Matt Gaetz’s security removes ‘fan’ who ‘DOESN’T think he’s a pedophile’ – and Twitter thinks it’s hilarious

Apparently, Matt Gaetz prefers his fans properly acknowledge the politician’s alleged crimes.

In a video shared to Twitter this weekend, Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) are seen taking photos with fans at the beach, but are quickly put off by one seemingly enthusiastic supporter of the Republican Party. Donning American flag-patterned apparel from head to toe — shorts, shoes, shirts and even a bucket hat — the avid admirer repeatedly exclaims “Oh my god, I’m so excited! I’m so excited!” as he prepares to pose for photos with the right-wing politicians.

“I mean…everyone thinks you’re crazy! I don’t think you’re crazy,” the “supporter” – who is actually comedian Walter Masterson doing a bit – says to Greene. Greene is undeterred, however, proceeding to pose and smile for the camera with two thumbs up.

Masterson then turns to Gaetz: “People think you’re a pedophile, I don’t think you’re a pedophile at all! I don’t think he’s a pedophile at all,” he shouts at the camera, prompting Gaetz’s security to escort him away.

“The allegations against you are totally false. They’re totally false!” he continues yelling, despite physically being removed from the politician’s presence.

Masterson shared a clip documenting the incident to Twitter, and viewers have since lost their minds at the chaos that is the video.

Even actor Christopher Meloni chimed in, calling Masterson a “hero.”

Gaetz is currently currently under federal investigation for sex trafficking and sex with a minor.
