A news reader is doing that Christmas tree challenge too - and it's going to be fantastic

Earlier in the week, we reported on a disastrous bet made by 20-year-old Kelsey Hall from the University of Alabama.

It did not go well for her.

Thankfully, a news reporter has taken to Twitter to share the pain.

Chynna Greene, a reporter for WVLT in Knoxville, Tennessee, threw down the gauntlet.

And Twitter responded.

It seems users really have a thing for Christmas tree costumes because the above tweet also went viral very quickly.

She's promised to buy the costume.

We can't wait.
