A woman has shared an emotional plea to “always trust your intuition” after a fun night with a friend took a sinister turn.

TikTok user Aili (@aili.likes.adventure) grew increasingly distressed as she recounted her ordeal in a video posted to the platform.

In the clip she explained that she and her pal had gone out for an evening of dancing at a bar in Seattle when a man approached and offered to buy them a drink.

Aili politely declined and she and her friend carried on with their night, but the stranger and his two friends continued to lurk closeby.

When the two women ended up hitting the dance floor, the trio emerged once again. Aili said she “didn’t think anything of it” at first because “you never do” but “these men were kind of persistent.”

“By the end of the night it’s just me and my friend dancing together and the two guys from earlier come up to us and shove beers in our hands," she went on.

“They didn’t say ‘we bought you these drinks’, they didn’t say ‘did you want a drink?’, they just put them in our hands.

"My friend started drinking hers immediately and as I put mine up to my lips a voice dropped into my head and it said, ‘Do not drink that’.”

"So instead of drinking it, I put it back in his hand and I said ‘you drink it’.

“He was so stunned, he literally backed away and all he could say was, no. So I pushed it at him again and said, ‘Take a drink’ and he said, ‘No, I got it for you’. I said, I don’t want it.”

“He wouldn’t even take the drink from me,” she continued, her voice cracking with emotion. “I immediately stopped my friend from drinking, grabbed her by the arm and said we’re leaving."

But as they exited the dance floor, Aili claims the man followed them and she had to “physically push him off of me.”

That’s when she noticed something was badly wrong with her friend.

"[She] went from being able to dance with me and talk to me, to stumbling around barely able to form a sentence," Aili tearfully recalled.

As they waited for an Uber, she noticed the three men once again standing opposite, staring, but thankfully the women were able to get away from the threatening scene.

Aili ended her clip: "We got home safe last night, but I know there’s so many women out there who don’t, so please take care of them.”

Finally, she issued a heartfelt plea to viewers to “always, always trust your intuition”.

"If something doesn’t feel right, it’s because it is not right," she stressed.

Her video racked up more than 4.9 million views and 1.2 million likes in just three days as fellow TikTokers praised her for her bravery and thanked her for sharing her story.

“You saved [your] and your friend’s life,” one wrote. “Sending you both so much love.”

Another commented: “I don’t know a woman who doesn’t have a story like this. I’m glad you’re okay.”

A third said: “I’m so sorry this happened to you two. We shouldn’t have to live in fear of strangers but until this stops being so common we have to be vigilant.”

And a fourth said: “You have done your part by creating awareness. Thanks for sharing.”

Aili explained in her own comment that she and her friend went to the hospital the day after the incident and they were both now “safe and okay”.

“We will be filing a police report and contacting the bar,” she added. “Stay safe, sweet friends.”
