That awkward moment when you accidentally hate the Ivory Coast

Yes, we know it is probably best to just ignore the Westboro Baptist Church, the hate speech-promulgating church that pickets the funerals of US soldiers and which has just a few dozen adherents.

But it can also be good to laugh, so we're choosing to laugh at them in light of Ireland overwhelmingly voting in favour of gay marriage this weekend.

Because, if you are going to declare that God hates Ireland, you could at least have the decency not to confuse the country's flag with that of the Ivory Coast.

WBC then tried to claim it had intentionally flipped the Irish tricolour in order to suggest a country in distress.
