This is how ridiculous it would be if people left parties the way they leave Facebook

Attention, attention everyone! I have an announcement to make.

Many of us have probably witnessed the moment a friend, or perhaps a passing acquaintance, has decided to reel off a long, rambling farewell from Facebook.

Not content with simply deleting their account privately, or perhaps just logging on less, they make sure absolutely everyone knows of their intentions with a fully-detailed explanation of their feelings.

All very well, you may think, in this time of constant online updates, but as this video from CollegeHumor's Mike Trapp shows, the scenario would be completely preposterous if undertaken in a real life social situation.
