Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it Mary Poppins!? No, it's a man being carried away on a patio umbrella during severe winds in Turkey.
Yes, really.
Footage of an unfortunate Turkish man named Sadık Kocadallı went viral on Wednesday after he was caught on camera attempting to secure the large umbrella in a particularly strong gust of wind in Turkey's Osmaniye province.
In the video, Kocadallı steps on the base of the umbrella in an attempt to keep it in place, however instead of securing it, he's lifted off into the sky.
Speaking to reporters after the ordeal, Kocadallı explained that he was left unharmed.
I'm fine actually. After I realized the umbrella was going to keep going up, I jumped off. I think I rose 3 or 4 meters.
Sadly, another man was injured by the falling umbrella. Mehmet Ali Bıçakçı was knocked unconscious by the falling parasol, and also suffered broken ribs and a broken foot in the accident.
The moral of the tale?
There's only one Mary Poppins for a reason, guys.
