A town in Kent must keep its Christmas tree up until February

We may be well into January, but for one corner of the UK Christmas is still in full swing. Well, sort of.

A town in Kent could be forced to keep its Christmas tree until February after council workers removing decorations found a collared dove and her egg in the branches.

Because of the legal protection afforded nesting birds, the tree in Paddock Wood may have to remain in situ until mid-February when the chicks are fully fl edged.
