A woman was left heartbroken after her friend didn’t turn up to the Friendsgiving celebration she hosted at her home.
In a clip posted by the woman’s boyfriend on TikTok, he wrote in the caption, ‘I’m so sad for her” and explained what had happened.
The now-viral video by @kidalloy showed the basement his girlfriend had decorated and the food she made. It then showed his girlfriend sitting at the nicely decorated table alone as none of her friends had bothered to come.

The sad clip has been viewed 14.1 million times and people in the comments gave their sympathy to the man’s girlfriend, with some even offering to be her new friend.
One person wrote: “No call, no show? Ma’am those ain’t your friends.”
Another said: “Where do I apply to be her friend?!”
Someone else shared a similar experience of hosting events for friends, but stopping due to their lack of effort.
They shared: “I remember hosting Friendsgiving and Friendsmas. I stopped because I realized that the only one putting in effort was myself in everything.”
In a follow up, @kidalloy shared happier news, as he explained that they managed to turn the evening around and still have fun.

He explained that his girlfriend initially thought her friends were all running late, but when it got to the three hour mark, she realised they weren’t going to show up.
Next, he continued: “She had called me and told me what happened, so I started heading over to her house. On the way there I had called my friends.”
Luckily, his friends managed to save the day as they all showed up to celebrate the occasion.
He added: “They were more than gracious enough to come. They all came, they brought stuff. So it’s like she had her own Friendsgiving. So it was a happy ending towards the end of it.”
