We have failed as human beings.
With the amount of things we’ve been doing wrong, from brushing our teeth and making an omelette to peeling a banana, you’d think we would have post-it notes down.
It requires nothing more than using fine motor skills we learnt when we were still in nappies.
Apparently not.
Because the internet is an evil place where love and hope go to die, there’s an instruction manual about the right way to take a sticky-note, courtesy of blogger Martin Schapendonk.

No post-it notes were harmed in the making of this article.
1. This is how it's done by 99.9999 per cent of the world. Peel from the bottom up.
2. But then the edges curl, and it only sticks on the surface for all of five seconds.
3. Apparently you have to peel it from the side, slowly pulling the paper along the adhesive rather than up from the bottom.
4. Right.
5. Here's the side-by-side comparison.
Bottom line? We have been peeling post-it notes wrong.
There are no more words.
