As we all know by now anything can happen at Hollywood award ceremonies and the Golden Globes are no exception.

Last year Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield kissed, and Meryl Streep threw so much shade on Donald Trump she didn't even need to name him.

Although the headlines from this year's ceremony have been rightly dominated by the anti-sexual harassment stance and Natalie Portman, one story that will appeal to Harry Potter fans went slightly under the radar.

Cast your mind back to 2005 when Robert Pattinson was cast as the dreamy Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

The older Hogwarts student was a pretty cool guy and like, a really good wizard.

Everyone loved him and it was obvious that Hermione had a soft spot for him.

Unfortunately, they never got it together as (spoilers) Cedric was murdered during the Triwizard Tournament.

That was 2005 though and luckily it was only a work of fiction.

Because in 2018, R-Patz and Emma Watson briefly reunited at the Golden Globes.

The duo was onstage to present the award for Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television which went to Big Little Lies.

Needless to say, they looked glorious together.

Once the Harry Potter fans realised that Hermoine and Cedric had been reunited by the powers of Hollywood they collectively lost it.

Afterwards, Rob said some really nice words about Emma and her work as an activist.

These two.

Let's hope they make another movie together soon.
