On Tuesday night in America, senior advisor to the President Stephen Miller heaped praised onto his boss Donald Trump on his favourite news network FOX.

As tensions continue to escalate between North Korea and the United States, Miller complimented the President's speaking ability and gifts as a politician.

Critic of the president, author and philanthropist JK Rowling compared the segment to propaganda in the totalitarian state of... You guessed it, North Korea - the very same place Trump promised to unleash "fire and fury" upon.

Hours later, Rowling struck again.

When Donald Trump was still a property developer, game show host and steak salesman in 2012, he tweeted this quote:

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us

As is far too easily done, the tweet was trawled from the depths of Twitter by JK.

Rowling was most likely referring to something else, but there's an outside chance she was referring to the fact that Ralph Waldo Emerson never said those words.

So the President's claim that it was an Emerson quote is an untruth.

According to website Quote Investigator, the stirring words have been attributed to a number of different people.

In 1947 the New York Times said a version of the quote was actually written by a Wall Street financial securities trader Henry S. Haskins.

While the 1989 book The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People attributed it to Oliver Wendell Holmes, though it did not specify if it was the father or the son of that name.

More details on various attributions can be read here.
