In the age of Trump, a week in politics feels like a lifetime.
It has in fact, only been three weeks since the President accused his predecessor of spying on him.

Shortly after the White House said that Trump himself doesn't believe the wiretapping claims.
He does not think Obama went out there and wiretapped him personally. There are are a whole host of techniques to or surveil someone.

And his advisor, Kellyanne Conway suggested that Obama could have spied on Trump through a microwave.

You couldn't make this stuff up.
Now, it appears that The Republicans are allegedly using these false - or as yet unproven - claims to raise funds for the party.

The White House have not provided any evidence for these claims and Barack Obama has denied them.

In fact, Devin Nunes,the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee contradicted himself in a statement - with most people coming to the conclusion that there was no evidence Trump had been spied on during the campaign.
