Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck confirm they’re official with steamy birthday kiss – and the internet loves it

Jennifer Lopez has officially confirmed that she and Ben Affleck are back on – and fans are ecstatic.

Marking her 52nd birthday (yes, that’s right, 52nd) on Instagram and Twitter by sharing a series of snaps, the one that really caught people’s eye showed her enjoying a passionate kiss with her old flame.

It is the first time the singer has posted about her rumoured reunion with the actor who she dated back in the noughties.

The couple broke hearts when they called off their September 2003 wedding and ultimately called time on their relationship months later.

However, almost 20 years after they first got together, the pair are back together – and fans couldn’t be happier.

The birthday girl also shared a video of herself striking a pose on a glamourous yacht which appeared to be taken by her new (and once former) beau.

The Jenny from the block star can be heard shouting “52!” as the unseen cameraman replies: “Yes, give it to ‘em,” as he cheers Lopez on.

Her posts racked up more than 10 million likes on Instagram alone in just 12 hours, as fans and celebrity well-wishers shared their love and support for the couple dubbed.

“Bennifer is back in full force!!!” one user wrote.

“I’M SOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH, my heart can’t take it!!! #benniferisreal!!” another replied.

“Omg! Yes! Finally! Confirmation! I love it!” commented a third.

While a fourth said: “I am living for this time warp we are in.”

Although it’s the first time either of the pair have posted an photo together, earlier this week Lopez’s friend, Leah Remini shared a snap of the couple embracing each other.

Reunion rumours first began to swirl after a video of them kissing, hugging and laughing at dinner was shared online.

The couple reportedly rekindled their romance around April this year, after Lopez ended her two-year engagement to Alex Rodriguez.
