Boris Johnson takes part in tug of war, falls over

Boris Johnson's sporting endeavours continued on Tuesday with a game of tug of war on London's Southbank.

Fresh from his rugby exploits against Japanese 10-year-olds earlier this month, the mayor lined up against physical trainers from the armed forces to mark the start of the poppy appeal in the capital.

But donning a suit and tie as opposed to his opponents' army fatigues, Boris came unstuck and lost his balance on the wet grass.
