After the scariest Halloween trick of all - coronavirus - caused us to be holed up in our houses last year in lockdown, it was nice to see people dress up and live it up for the first time in two years over the last few days to celebrate the occasion.
Celebrities were no different and attended parties and events dressed up as a host of characters and spooky figures to celebrate the event in style.
Some dressed as cartoon characters, some dressed as fruit (really) but in a crowded field who stood out?
Here are ten celebrity Halloween costumes that really went the extra mile:

It was expected that lots of people would make Squid Game costumes given the success of the Netflix series and Kerry Washington didn’t disappoint:
